Traffic restrictions for Naveen Patnaik’s roadshow in Odisha Capital on May 22

Bhubaneswar: Commissionerate Police-Bhubaneswar today issued a traffic advisory for Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s roadshow scheduled to be held tomorrow (Wednesday) in the State Capital.

The Chief Minister’s roadshow is to start in the evening from Omfed Chhak in Rental Colony and proceed to Patia Square via Petrol Pump Square, Saliasahi, Mayfair, Biju Pattnaik Statue Chhak, Xavier Chhak, BDA Sai Temple, Chandrasekharpur Petrol Pump, and Damana Max Showroom in Patia.

Restrictions were imposed in the public interest to ensure better regulation and free flow of traffic.

An official source said that no vehicles will be allowed to ply from Rental Colony locality Omfed Chhak to Patia Square from 5.30 PM to till the end of roadshow.

Vehicles will not be allowed to ply from CRP Square towards Rental Omfed Chhak from 5.30 PM and also not be allowed to ply from Jaydev Vihar Square towards Biju Pattnaik College Square from 6.30 PM, till the end of roadshow.

Similarly, vehicles will not be allowed to move from Jaydev Vihar Square towards KIIT Square from 6.30 PM, and from KIIT Square towards Jaydev Vihar Square from 7.45 PM, till the end of roadshow.

Ambulance vehicles coming from Jaydev Vihar side towards Xavier Square will be allowed on the wrong route and to take a diversion at Xavier Square and avail the left parallel road.

The ambulance vehicles coming from Nandan Kanan side towards Jaydev Vihar will be allowed on the wrong route and to take a diversion at Damana Square and avail the right parallel road.

Moreover, vehicles coming from lanes/by-lanes will not be allowed to avail the aforesaid roads from Rental Omfed Chhak to Patia Square on the mentioned date and time.

Commissionerate Police-Bhubaneswar requested the public to plan their routes accordingly.
