Two injured in gas balloon tank explosion in Odisha’s Rourkela

Rourkela, Aug 15:
Two persons were injured when a gas balloon tank exploded near Uditnagar parade field during Independence Day celebrations in Odisha’s steel city Rourkela today.

According to reports, the mishap took place when a vendor was filling gas into balloons from the tank. One of the victims sustained grievous injuries on his head and eyes and was admitted to Rourkela Government Hospital for treatment.
The balloon seller fled the spot soon after the incident. Police have started investigation into the incident.
