The Commissionerate Police will submit the chargesheet against retired army doctor Somnath Parida (71) for brutally murdering and chopping of into pieces to his wife Ushashree before the trial court here on Thursday.

The investigating officer (IO) of the case, Assistant Commissioner of Police Bishnu Mishra would file the chargesheet ahead of completion of 120 days since the case was taken up for inquiry.

The IO would submit details of evidences against Parida, statements of his daughter Lekha and son Lalit, statement of Ushashree’s brothers, Goutam Samal and Ranjan Samal, his gardener and others in the gruesome murder case.
