Woman Maoist surrenders in Rourkela

Rourkela, Apr 19:
A woman Maoist surrendered before the police in Odisha’s Steel City today.

The woman Maoist identified as Neetu surrendered before Rourkela SP Anirudh Singh, police said.
Police said Neetu told to have left the Maoist organisation after being frustrated with the activities of the rebels.
Neetu was involved in the exchange of fire between Maoists and security personnel in Chandiposh police limits in 2015 in which two Maoists were killed, police added.
