12-ft-long python rescued from garden in Odisha

Bhadrak: A 12-ft-long python was rescued from a garden at Randhia village here in the district yesterday.

The locals were panicked after witnessing the huge serpent from a resident’s garden.

According to reports, the wife of one Radhanath Swain spotted the python at her garden where she had been to pluck flowers on Saturday morning. She was frightened to see the giant snake following which she informed her family.

On receiving the information about presence of a python nearby the house, the snake catcher AK Mirza rushed to the spot and found the snake was trapped in a net and struggling to get free. Later, he rescued the trapped reptile very carefully.
