BREAKING: 3 more COVID-19 cases in Odisha, tally reaches 103

Bhubaneswar: Number of COVID-19 cases in Odisha reached 103 as three more persons tested positive for the virus last night, Health and Family Welfare Department sources said today.

The three persons are from Sundargarh district, where number of active cases stood at 3 while three others have recovered so far. The fresh cases have been identified as a 23-year-old man, a 60-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman, all from Rourkela city. While two of them are confirmed close contacts of earlier positive case, one is a suspected contact, sources said.

With this, number of active cases in the state mounted to 68 while 34 persons have recovered till date. A total of 2217 COVID-19 tests were conducted in Odisha yesterday while nine persons (6 from Jajpur and 3 from Sundargarh) tested positive for the virus, sources added.
