Bhubaneswar/New Delhi: Two Golden men, who brought glory for the country during different Olympic Games, met today. One scripted history by wining Gold in shooting in 2008 Summer Olympics whereas the other brought smiles on the faces of millions of the country by grabbing a Gold at Olympics 2020 in Tokyo.
Shooter Abhinav Bindra met 23-year-old Gold medallist Neeraj Chopra at the former’s residence in Delhi. Also, Bindra presented a special gift – Golden Retriver puppy – to Chopra.
Taking to Twitter, Bindra wrote, “Was a pleasure to meet and interact with India’s golden man @Neeraj_chopra1 ! I hope that “Tokyo” will be a supportive friend and motivate you to get a sibling named Paris for him in 2024 !”

Bindra in another post wrote, “The two of us agree that the process is the Goal. The process is the Gold. And the Process is most rewarding. Happy to have spent the afternoon with this young Gold Medalist.”
