Asit Tripathy elected President of Bhubaneswar Club for 3rd time

Bhubaneswar: Western Odisha Development Council (WODC) Chairman and former Odisha Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy was re-elected as the President of the Bhubaneswar Club.

The retired bureaucrat was elected as head of the elite club for a third consecutive year.

Tripathy defeated his key rival Tapesh Ray with a huge margin in the election held on Sunday here. More than 1100 members had exercised franchise in the annual poll, of which Tripathy received over 900 votes.

Similarly, Pragati Mohanty was elected as the Vice President of the Bhubaneswar Club, Ashok Mishra as the Secretary and Ripul Patnaik as Joint Secretary.

Besides, six more candidates were elected as Executive Committee (EC) Members of the Bhubaneswar Club.
