Bandh disrupts life in Odisha’s G Udayagiri

G Udayagiri, May 10:

Shops and establishments downed their shutters and vehicular traffic remained off the roads in G. Udayagiri and Kalinga valley in Odisha’s Kandhamal district in response to a bandh call given by the local Traders’ Association in support of their 8-point charter of demands, reports said.

Local traders have called for a bandh demanding sub-divisional status to G.Udaygiri, filling up of vacancies in government offices, drinking water, plying of government bus between G. Udayagiri and Chhatrapur, construction of bypass road among others, reports added.
