In a show of strength of the ruling party, a mass student convention organised by the BJD party’s student wing, was held in the capital of Odisha, today.
Around 20 thousand students from various parts of the state were part of the students rally in Bhubaneswar.
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik spelled out the 3C’s of success mantra to students namely courage, conviction and commitment for success in life.
“Three words are important in life to get success. These are courage, conviction and commitment. If you have conviction on any subject, proceed with commitment and courage. You would surely succeed in your life,” the chief minister told the students in the mass rally.
After farmer and intellectual rallies, the student rally is a show of strength by the ruling party in the state. After, previous year hi- tech and digital convention by the Biju Chatra Dal, this year the party has gone a step ahead with its student rally.
The BJD supremo said, “BJD has its focus on youth and students.The party had been established in the name of Biju Patnaik, who used to love students and youth a lot. To take Odisha’s name to a higher level of prominence the support of youth and students is necessary.”
About the prevailing drought situation in the state, he said that Odisha is not new to natural calamities .
“We have faced natural calamities like flood, cyclone and drought situation successfully for the last 15 years. We have taken a number of steps to meet the prevailing drought situation,” said Patnaik.
