Blank firing in Odisha’s Puri town, none hurt

Panic gripped the pilgrim town after miscreants opened fire at Matiapada Square this morning. However, none was injured in the incident.

As per reports, bike-borne miscreants fired bullets in the air and fled the spot. In a hurry, they left their two-wheeler behind.

Panic-stricken locals informed the police about the incident. The Kumbharpada police rushed to the spot and seized the bike lying on the spot.

The exact reason of the firing incident is not immediately known and police are investigating into the incident.
