BTS Ruled this Year’s Music Award Along with the Top 25 Most Searched for Idols

Google Korea announced the official list of the most searched for idols that include both male and female in South Korea. And this year seems like a lucky for the K-Pop BTS as the group topped the list following by EXO and NCT.

IU’s female idol was the first list following by Irene (Red Velvet) and Yoona (Girls’ Generation). BTS is the most popular K-Pop group that has topped the Billboard Hot 100 artists this year and winning the Daesang at the TMA, showing their continuous power and influence.

Recently the group attended the 2020 The Fact Music Awards (TMA) and even performed but without the band’s producer and rapper Suga as he is still recovering from surgery. During the performance, the band left Suga’s part alone, but then vocalist Jimin stepped up to perform that part, which was a pleasant surprise for the BTS fan. Jimin’s effort was highly praised, and fans went crazy during the performance, which was telecasted online due to the COVID pandemic.

The group took four awards- Artist of the Year, Worldwide Icon, Listener’s Choice, and Daesang (Grand Prize).

This year the band also created history by winning their first Grammy nomination for the best pop duo/group and International artists like Justin Bieber. They were also featured as Time Magazine’s Entertainer of the Year, where the Time Magazine termed them as the biggest band in the world.
