Narendra Modi to reach Odisha today, address two public meetings tomorrow

The Odisha government today decided to issue identity cards to (sevayats) servitors of Shri Jagannath temple soon.

The decision was taken at a meeting between chief secretary JK Mohapatra and chief administrator of Sri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) Aravind Padhe here today.

Talking to the media chief administrator, SJTA, Padhee said identity proof would be made mandatory for tourists/visitors seeking accommodation in various hotels, boarding houses, mutts and lodgings in the temple town.

A decision to free the temple of illegal encroachments around it was also taken at the meeting, informed Padhee.
