CBI raids Rourkela businessman over DA charges

Rourkela: The CBI today conducted raids at the residence of Rourkela-based businessman Surendra Dua over allegation of amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Besides his residence, raids were conducted at five other places including his business establishments.

This apart, the central investigating agency also carried out search at the residence of Bhubaneswar Prasad Verma, Rourkela Steel Plant’s former Executive Director, over same allegation.

Verma was earlier arrested on graft charges, reports said.
