Class 8 boy found hanging on school premises in Odisha  

 Malkangiri: A Class 8 boy student of Kendragumpha Project High School in Malkangiri district was found hanging from a tree on the school premises this morning.

The deceased identified as Bhimaraja Padiami was a resident of Tentuliguda area.

Sources said Bhimaraja’s father yesterday dropped him at the hostel and went back. Today morning, a few locals spotted his body hanging from a tree on the school premises.

School authorities said the boy was not doing well in studies and frequently visiting his house. His family might have been pressurizing him for studies which forced him to take the extreme step. However , family members of the deceased were not available to comment on the matter.

Meanwhile, police have begun an investigation into the incident.
