CM Naveen recalls Biju Babu’s dedication towards Odisha on his death anniversary

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today paid rich tribute to legendary leader, former CM and his father Biju Patnaik on his 23rd  death anniversary.

While the Government has decided to observe the day across the state somberly in view of coronavirus outbreak and subsequent lockdown, CM Naveen offered tribute to the son of the soil and recalled his dedication and contribution to the state. Naveen took to Twitter and said,  “Biju Babu had always been with the people of the state. His vision of working for betterment of each and every individual of the state has always inspired us to serve the people.”

ସବୁବେଳେ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ସହ ରହିବା ଏବଂ ପ୍ରତିଟି ଲୋକର କଲ୍ୟାଣ ଓ ଉନ୍ନତି ପାଇଁ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିବା ବିଜୁ ବାବୁଙ୍କ ମନ୍ତ୍ର ଥିଲା; ଯାହା ଲୋକଙ୍କ ସେବା ପାଇଁ ସର୍ବଦା ଆମକୁ ଅନୁପ୍ରାଣିତ କରିଆସିଛି। ସେହି ମହାନ ପୁଣ୍ୟାତ୍ମା, ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ବରପୁତ୍ର, ମହାନ ଜନନାୟକ ବିଜୁ ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକଙ୍କ ତିରୋଧାନ ଦିବସରେ ବିନମ୍ର ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାଞ୍ଜଳି ଜଣାଉଛି। pic.twitter.com/yB7aOsxgcF

Earlier, the BJD Supremo had advised party’s leaders, workers, office-bearers and well wishers not to step out of their houses under any circumstances and to offer homage to the statesman from within the confines of their respective houses while maintaining social distancing.

However, he has advised that the social responsibility programme Jiban Bindu (blood donation) which has been running since long by the party should continue.
