College Demonstrator in Odisha Vigilance net over DA charges

Berhampur: Odisha Vigilance officials today raided multiple places in connection with allegation against Kailash Chandra Mohanty, Demonstrator in Zoology Department, Chikiti College, Ganjam district regarding possession of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Simultaneous searches were conducted by the officers of the anti-corruption agency at his residential flat in Berhampur, another flat in Berhampur, a flat in Bhubaneswar, native house at Chikitigarh in Ganjam, relative’s house at Chikitigarh, and office room at Chikiti College.

The raids were carried out on the strength of search warrants issued by the Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Berhampur.

Calculation of total value of his movable and immovable properties was underway.
