Couple dies, son critical as car overturns in Odisha’s Keonjhar

Anandpur: In a tragic incident, a husband-wife duo died and their son sustained critical injuries after a car in which they were travelling overturned at Satkosia ghat near Anandpur in Odisha’s Keonjhar district today.

The deceased have been identified as Devdutt Mishra and his wife Purnasashi of Marthapur village in Dhenkanal district.

The mishap took place around 11 am when the couple was returning home from Tatanagar along with their son in a car. While the duo died on the spot after the car turned turtle, their son, who was driving the vehicle, sustained grievious injuries.

On being informed, police reached the spot, seized the bodies and admitted the injured one to Keonjhar district headquarters hospital.
