DFO under Odisha Vigilance scanner

Khordha: Odisha Vigilance officials today raided multiple places in connection with an allegation against Alok Ranjan Hota, DFO, Chilika Wildlife Division regarding possessions of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

According to official sources, simultaneous searches were conducted by the anti-corruption agency sleuths at the official’s residential house in Dumduma, Bhubaneswar, residence-cum-office at Balugaon, three-storied building at Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar, a house at native place Chasikhanda in Jagatsinghpur district, and house of a relative at Padampur village under Balipatna police limits.

Till last reports came in, the searches were underway and calculation of the value of the DFO’s movable and immovable properties was yet to be completed.
