Doctor dies as bus runs over him in Odisha capital
Bhubaneswar: In a tragic incident, a doctor died after a bus ran over him at OMFED Square under Chandrasekharpur police limits in Odisha capital this morning.
The deceased has been identified as Basant Kumar Rout, who was working as a Medicine Specialist in Angul.

Tension gripped the spot after the accident as irate locals ransacked the vehicle and blocked road for around one hour.
The road blockade was lifted after police reached the spot and pacified the locals. The driver and helper of the bus fled the spot after the mishap.
Police have recovered the body and sent it to Capital Hospital here for post-mortem.
