Deputy EC arrives in city for pre-poll review

Bhubaneswar, Mar 9:
Deputy Election Commissioner Dr Alok Shukla arrived in the city here this morning.

Talking to newsmen at the airport Dr Shukla said he is here to review the poll preparedness of the officials in the stare.
He said he would visit some of the camps being held today for voter enrolment.
Dr Shukla said he would review the preparations for the ensuing the parliamentary and assembly elections in Odisha in April.
He would attend a review meeting with the district collectors and SPs here tomorrow.
” Our aim is to hold free and fair elections in the country,” he said.
