Fight against Covid: Over 50 lakh vaccinated in Odisha so far

Bhubaneswar: Odisha today achieved a milestone in the fight against Covid pandemic as more than 50 lakh vaccination doses were administered in the State till date. As per the data provided by the Cowin Portal, a total of 50,05,553 vaccines has been administered in the State so far.

While 43,62,053 persons received Dose 1 of the vaccine, a total of 6,43,500 got Dose 2 of the vaccine, the Cowin portal data mentioned.

Today, as many as 66,521 were vaccinated in the State.

Currently, 1,472 sites have been conducting vaccination in Odisha. Of them, 1,364 are government vaccination sites whereas 108 are private ones.

In Ganjam district, maximum 3,16,200 people received Dose 1 and 56,589 got Dose 2 of the vaccine.
The Covishield and Covaxin vaccines are being administered to the people of the State.
