Four Corona Warriors Among 41 Test COVID-19 Positive In Cuttack City

Cuttack: Four Corona warriors were among 41 persons who tested positive for the virus in Cuttack city in last 24 hours, informed Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) today.

Of the newly detected cases, 12 have been reported from institutional quarantine centres, two are local contacts and 27 were under home quarantine. Of the four Corona warriors, two were under institution quarantine while rest two are local contacts -one from Mathasahi in Choudhury Bazar and another from Lower Police Colony.

With this, the total number of positive cases in the city rose to 777, including 453 active cases. However, 314 patients recovered from the disease whereas 10 succumbed to it.

In the last 24 hours, the district today reported 60 new positive cases while one 45-year-old male, who was also suffering from Bronchial asthma and Diabetes succumbed to the deadly virus.
