Heading towards Barabati for T20? Know parking areas, entry gate numbers

Cuttack: The local administration has made elaborate arrangements for spectators of the T20I match between India and South Africa at the Barabati Stadium here today.

Facility for parking of vehicles has been made at multiple places near the stadium for their convenience.

Below are the parking places for various categories of attendees:

  • General Spectators: Baliyatra Ground (Upper & Lower)
  • Members of OCA & Other Dignitaries: Cricket Academy through Gate No.1
  • Media/Press Persons: Cambridge School Campus
  • BCCI Officials, Match Referee, Umpires, Teams, OCA Officials, Guests: St. Xavier’s School Campus through Gate No. 14
  • Judges & TV Crew: In Front of Horse Gate

Similarly, spectators will be allowed to enter the stadium through various gates, the details of which are given below:

All the seats will be numbered and the same will also be mentioned on the tickets. The gates will open at 3 PM, four hours before the commencement of the match.

The match will be the first match in Odisha to be played under LED Flood Light. This will also be the first international match to be played on the newly-laid sand-based outfield at the stadium.

The Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) will be using a full ground cover for this match which will cover the entire field of play. This apart, two brand new dressing rooms of international standards with all modern facilities will be used.

The Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) will ply special MoBuses for passengers to Barabati Stadium. As decided by CRUT, the special MoBus shuttles will be available on two routes — from Master Canteen to Barabati Stadium via Rasulgarh and from Baramunda Bus Stand to Barabati Stadium via Patia. The bus fare has been fixed at Rs 40.

Sharing timing of the bus services, CRUT said the bus services from will be available in 15 minutes gap starting at 12 noon.
