Honda, RTO jointly celebrate I Day in Odisha capital

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Private Ltd. (HMSI) and Regional Transport Office (RTO-II) jointly celebrated the 68th Independence Day at Road Safety & Traffic Training Park, RTO Driving Test Track at Chandrasekharpur in the Odisha capital on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, chief guest Er. Sameer Kumar Panigrahi said “We can only achieve the freedom on road if we can check the road accident which is an epidemic and disguised to the nation.”
Er. Sanjay Kumar Behera, RTO-II, Bhubaneswar, Brajesh Kumar Upadhyay, Zonal Head, HMSI, Rahul Kirty, Area In-charge, HMSI, Meher Ranjan Sarah, Lecturer, Maharshi Mahavidyalaya, Rajesh Samanta, Owner of Khimji Honda, Badri Narayan Samantaray, Owner, Shivam Honda were the Guests of Honour to the occasion.
Er. Sanjay Kumar Behera, RTO-II briefed the gathering on the aims and objectives of establishing the Road Safety & Training Park where free Traffic Training is being provided to all categories of people.
RTO-II, Bhubaneswar & HMSI are committed to reduce the road accidents by 20% within 1 year in Bhubaneswar city by way of educating on Road Safety and traffic training to the city dwellers. A colourful and thrilling bike show was also performed by Maharshi Dare Devils Group on this occasion.
