HSC results: Sundargarh dist exceeds all-Odisha average

Sundargarh, May 6:

86.06% of students of Sundargarh district successfully cleared the High School Certificate (HSC) examinations in Odisha the results of which were announced today.

Out of a total of 25, 627 students appeared in the examinations, 22, 055 have passed the examinations of which 21 students of district have secured A1 grade, 599 have secured A2, 2439 B1, 4209 students B2, 5388 C, 5930 students D and 3469 E grade.

The district has bettered its performance as compared to last year’s results (81%).

“I am happy with the results since the pass percentage has substantially increased in the district to exceed the state average result (82.56%) for which I thank the students and the teachers for their concerted efforts,” said DC Behera, District Education Officer (DEO).
