Khurda: Vigilance sleuths today arrested a Jatni Municipality executive officer Lalita Kapoor for allegedly demanding and accepting bribe from a person to release his pension money.

As per the complaint, Kapoor had demanded Rs 10,000 from Bhikyakari Sahu, a retired employee to release his pension money. With no option left, the latter filed a complaint with the Vigilance, who laid a trap and caught Kapoor red-handed while she was receiving Rs 5,000 as bribe at her office.
