Red Terror : Maoists kill village-head in Malkangiri

Malkangiri, Sep 9:

The village head of Katamoteru village under Podia block in Malkangiri district, Ishwar Chandra Sodi, was shot dead outside his home at 8 pm on Monday night by a group of armed Maoists on the ground that he was working as a ‘police informer’.

Local police sources said, a group of 12 to 15 Maoists raided the village around 8 pm and dragged the village head Ishwar out of his home. After a brief summary trial, they opened fire and killed the village head on the spot.
