Manager found dead in Jindal guest house in Odisha’s Sundargarh
Motilal had retired from Jindal but was again appointed as Logistics Manager at the company's Barsuan mines in the district. He was staying at the Jindal Guest House alone since many days. It is suspected that he was beaten to death.
Rourkela: A manager of Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL) was found dead at the company’s guest house in Tensa-Barsuan under Lahunipara police limits of Sundargarh district in Odisha here today. The deceased was identified as Motilal Pal, Logistics Manager at Jindal.
As per reports, Motilal had retired from Jindal but was again appointed as Logistics Manager at the company’s Barsuan mines in the district. He was staying at the Jindal Guest House alone since many days. It is suspected that he was beaten to death.
Sources said on Sunday evening, Motilal had come back from work as usual and slept after having his dinner. On Monday morning, the guest waiter came to his room to serve tea. He knocked at the door and found no response for a while. Suspecting foul play, he opened the door only to find Motilal lying in a pool of blood. Jindal authorities and Lahunipara police on getting the information reached the spot and started investigation. The body has been seized for autopsy and case registered. Further details are awaited.
