Minor girl’s body found in Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur, rape and murder suspected
Jagatsinghpur: Body of a 10-year-old girl was found at a cashew forest in Gadaharishpur village under Erasama block of Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur district today.
Though the reason behind the death of the minor girl is yet to be ascertained, police suspect that she was raped and murdered as the body was found in a naked state.

According to reports, the deceased went missing yesterday and her family members were unable to trace her whereabouts.
This morning, the body of the girl was spotted by some village at the forest. On being informed, police reached the spot along with a scientific team, seized the body for post-mortem and started investigation into the incident.
