Odisha college staff to be denied entry to dept HQ

Taking note of heavy rush of college teachers and staff to the Higher Education department office at the State Secretariat, the Odisha government has decided to restrict their entry.

As decided, henceforth, the college teachers and staff would not be allowed to visit the department office without prior permission from the concerned authorities.

However, they will be allowed to attend the grievance cell hearing on every Monday with prior permission from the principal.

Disciplinary action would be initiated against those for violation of the order.

The Higher Education department will issue a notification to this effect to all the government and private colleges of the state.
