Nursing school owner arrested for molesting girl students in Odisha

Odisha police late on Thursday night arrested the owner of Kuntaladevi School of Nursing in Nayagarh district on charges of molesting two students of the private institute.

According to the complaint filed by one of the victim’s father, Gopal Biswal – the owner of the institute – called the victim to his chamber late on Wednesday night where he molested her.

The 18-year-old girl accompanied one of her friends to Biswal’s chamber where the latter allegedly molested the duo. Besides, the accused allegedly bit her private parts in an inebriated state.

The matter came to the fore after the victim narrated the ordeal to her parents on Thursday morning following which the enraged family members rushed to the school campus. However, the accused was not present on the premises.

Meanwhile, police conducted a medical examination of the duo last night and begun investigations.

The incident has caused outrage among the local people who demanded for shutdown of the school.

Notably, the victim had taken admission in the institute barely a week ago after depositing an admission fee of Rs 27,000.
