Odisha: Group clash erupts during wedding procession; 4 injured  

Deogarh: Tension prevailed at Patrapali under Deogarh Municipality after a group class erupted during a wedding procession in the locality last night. Reportedly, four persons were injured in the group clash.

Sources said a wedding procession of a groom of Talapali area of Sambalpur district was taken out at Patrapali here, when a group of locals opposed them and asked them to stop dancing.  Later, a verbal duel ensued between the wedding party members and the locals followed by a clash. Four persons from both the groups sustained injuries in the group clash. The locals also detained the wedding party members.

On receiving information, police reached the spot and brought the situation under control. Later, the injured persons were admitted to hospital for treatment.
