Odisha HC grants interim bail to D-brothers aide

The Orissa High Court today granted interim bail to Nirmal Rout, a close aide of notorious gangsters- Dhalasamanta brothers.

The High Court allowed Rout to go on interim bail for undergoing treatment against a bail bond of Rs 30,000 and two sureties, court sources said.

Rout has been granted interim bail till August 11 by the court, the sources added.

Rout who is suffering from liver disease had applied for interim bail to undergo treatment. The court after examining all medical records submitted by him with regard to his disease and on the basis of the report from jail authorities granted him bail.

It may be noted here that Rout, a close aide of D-brothers is one of the accused in the much talked about murders of Dipu and Om. Allegedly, D-brothers and their other associates had murdered Dipu and Om in the Athgarh Khuntakata farmhouse of Rout.
