Odisha: Man found dead on river banks; family smells foul play   

Phulbani: The body of a man was recovered from the banks of Salunki river near Dami village under Phulbani police limits in Kandhamal district today.

The deceased has been identified as Rajiv Lochan Behara, a resident of Bilupadar village.

As per reports, Rajiv had been staying at his in-laws’ house at Kendupadar since long. Today morning, a few locals spotted the body on the river banks and called up police. The cops reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem.

Meanwhile, Rajiv’s brother Prakash have lodged a complaint at Phulani Town police station alleging that some miscreants have killed the former before dumping his body in the river.

Acting on the complaint, police have begun an inquiry into incident.
