Odisha: Minor girl charred to death while cooking, father injured

Bhadrak: A minor girl was charred to death and her father was injured while she was cooking food at home here today.

The deceased was identified as Pujarani Jena (14), a class IX student of Satabhauni High School.

The incident was reported from Haripur village under Rural police limits in Bhadrak district.

According to reports, Pujarani died after she came in contact with fire while cooking in LPG gas. Her father Ranjan Jena was seriously injured when he attempted to save his daughter.
