Teachers agitation has affected the paper correction process of Odisha plus two answer evaluation. Odisha’s Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) has, therefore, extended the evaluation deadline by four days. The dates fixed earlier for paper checking first phase from April 4 to 13 and for second phase from 16 to 23.
But due to agitation by the lecturers of Block Grant colleges the paper evaluation of the recently conducted class 12 is not going on track and has been delayed by six days.
Therefore, the evaluation days have been increased by four days.The first phase of paper checking will go on till April 16, and second phase will start from April 18 to April 27, CHSE Chairman Basudev Chatoi has said.
Chatoi has added that the evaluation process has slowed down because of the intense heat and teachers agitation. Therefore, the evaluation process has been delayed.
The results will come out on the second week of May as decided earlier, he added.
