Vigilance sleuths today conducted simultaneous raids at the houses of Revenue department Assistant Collector Golak Bihari Mangaraj on charges of amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The anti-corruption wing sleuths conducted raids at the residence of Mangaraj located at Basanti Colony in Rourkela, his ancestral house at Banapur in Khurda district and his in-law’s house at Mayurajhalia in Nayagarh district.
Notably, Mangaraj is working in the Revenue department at the state secretariat here.
“Based on complaints of accumulating wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income, raids were conducted at Rourkela, Banapur and Mayurajhalia,” Vigilance DSP Purushottam Sethi said.
