Two killed as wall crumbles during hut roof thatching in Odisha

Cuttack, Mar 17:
In a tragic incident, two persons died and another sustained critical injuries as wall of a hut crumbled during its roof thatching at Haripur village under Salepur police limits in Odisha’s Cuttack district today.

According to police sources, some people were engaged in roof thatching work of a hut in the village.
In the meantime, a portion of wall of the hut collapsed crushing owner of the house Narahari Swain to death on the spot and grievously injuring two others– Khirod Das and Naba Swain.
The victims were admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack where Khirod succumbed to his injuries.
