Over 50 cattle killed in lightning strike in Odisha’s Khordha

Khordha: Lightning strike claimed lives of more than 50 cattle at Bhatapada village under Bangida panchayat of Odisha’s Khordha district today.

This apart, two persons sustained injuries in the nature’s fury and were admitted to a nearby hospital.

As per sources, 43 goats, four cows and a sheep belonging to one Suresh Bhuyan were killed in the lightning strike. Similarly, two cows of one Aranya Martha were also killed in the lightning strike.
