Plus III first cut-off list out; Ravenshaw University top choice for undergrads

Bhubaneswar: The Higher Education department today released the first cut-off marks for admission in undergraduate (UG) courses at various degree colleges of Odisha.

As per the cutoff marks uploaded in the Students Academic Management System (SAMS) portal, Ravenshaw University in Cuttack posted the highest cut-off percentage in several Arts subjects including Political Science (91.20), Geography (89.83), Economics (89.67), English (89.60), Psychology (88.17), History (87.83), Sociology (87.00), Philosophy (82.50) and Education (84.67) for General Category students.

Gangadhar Meher University in Sambalpur posted the highest cut-off percentage in Odia (86.00) while BJB Autonomous College in Bhubaneswar has the highest cutoff percentage in Anthropology (82.80).

Ravenshaw University in Cuttack also has the highest cut-off percentage in several physical science subjects including Physics (94.17), Chemistry (93.00), Computer Science (93.00) and Geology (92.83) for General Category students.

BJB Autonomous College in Bhubaneswar posted the highest cut-off percentage in Mathematics (94.20).

In Biological Science stream, BJB Autonomous College has the highest cut-off percentage in Zoology (95.40) and Botany (93.17). Rama Devi Women’s University in the capital city recorded the highest cut-off percentage in Biotechnology (91.20).

According to the data available at the SAMS portal, Ravenshaw University in Cuttack has the highest cut-off percentage for General Category students in Commerce (89.83).
