Mumbai/Bhubaneswar: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi wrote to Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan after the latter’s son Aryan Khan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the sensational cruise ship drugs case.

According to reports, the former Congress president wrote to Shah Rukh on October 14 when the actor was struggling to get his son out of jail. Rahul offered words of solidarity to Shah Rukh and told him that the entire nation was with him during the turbulent time.

The Wayanad MP wrote the letter after the NCB for Aryan’s custody in the drugs case.

Aryan finally walked out of the Arthur Road Central Jail (ARCJ) in Mumbai on October 30 after the Bombay High Court approved his bail order.

The Narcotics Control Bureau had claimed that Aryan along with others, was prima facie involved in “illicit drug trafficking, procuring and distribution of contraband” banned under the NDPS Act.
