Respite from heatwave: Thundershower likely over several districts of Odisha

In a slight respite amid scorching heatwave, the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre has predicted rain/thundershower over several districts of Odisha.

“Rain/thundershower likely to occur at one or two places over Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Khordha, Nayagarh and Kandhamal,” a release of the meteorological centre said.

However, heat wave condition is likely to occur at one or two places over Balangir, Nabarangpur, Boudh, Sonepur, Bargarh, Angul, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Khordha, Cuttack, Dhenkanal and Sambalpur, it predicted.
