Lodge raided over sex racket suspicion in Odisha, two couples detained

Sundargarh: The district police today raided a lodge at Kerei in Odisha’s Sundargarh town on suspicion of a sex racket operating there and detained two couples in this connection.

On the basis of past allegations of sex rackets operating at the lodge, a police team led by SP Saumya Mishra raided the lodge today and found four couples in four separate rooms.

While two couples were later released by police after seizure of their mobile phones, two others were detained for questioning.

Reports said the youths are locals while the girls hail from Sambalpur, Jharsuguda and Sonepur. Investigation into the matter is underway.
