Shocking! Lady school teacher beaten to death in Odisha

Khurda: In a gruesome incident, a lady school teacher was allegedly beaten to death at a paddy field in Odisha’s Khurda district.

The deceased has been identified as Anjali Dehury (25) who was working as a teacher at Haripur Primary School here for last three years.

According to reports, she was going to her rented room at Badapokhari area through the paddy field and it is suspected that she was attacked and beaten to death by some miscreants.

Her face was completely disfigured and a bamboo stick was also found near her body, reports added.

The reason behind the brutal murder is yet to be ascertained.

The deceased teacher had been staying at rented accommodation in Badapokharia village for the last eight years, sources said.

Meanwhile, the local police rushed to the spot and started investigation from various angles.
