Siblings drown in pond while bathing in Odisha’s Khurda

Puri, Sep 27:
Two siblings drowned to death at a pond while bathing at Bhimapur under Jatani block in Khurda district today.

The brother-sister duo from Delang in Puri district had gone to their maternal uncle’s house to attend grandfather’s death anniversary.
The deceased have been identified as Papali Pradhan and Subham Sahani.
The duo was rushed to the nearby hospital for treatment. However, they were declared brought dead.
A pall of gloom descended on the family after the mishap.
