Slot booking for DL skill test in these Odisha districts from tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: Residents in the regions of ‘B’ category districts wish to undergo driving license skill test can go for slot booking from 11 AM on July 10, 2021. However, the facility will not be available for people from Puri from tomorrow. In a notification, the State Transport Authority (STA) today stated residents of Puri district can book driving licence skill test slot from 11 AM on July 13, 2021.

Test slots will be opened for booking from 7 AM to 10 PM every day from July 11. Only existing DL applicants can book slots for DL skill test.

Also, DL renewal with retest will be allowed.

The STA further stated DL skill test for the region of ‘B’ category except Puri will begin from July 13, 2021. The skill test for Puri will commence from July 14, 2021.

The DL skill test will be resumed in the ‘B’ category districts namely, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Khordha, Kendrapara, Mayurbhanj, Nayagarh and Puri.

The applicants from containment zone will not be allowed for any test.

The VAHAN services, DL services and fitness test for the regions of ‘B’ category will resume from July 13, 2021.

DL skill test slot booking for other 20 ‘A’ category districts were resumed from June 22, 2021 and July 6, 2021.

Worth mentioning, the Learner’s Licence expiring from March 18, 2020 to September 30, 2021 will remain valid till September 30, 2021. The fees already paid for DL test and LL test will remain valid.

The slots booked for DL test and LL test were cancelled from April 22, 2021.
