State has spent 91% of NRHM funds

The state government has spent about 91 percent of funds under National Rural Health Mission (NRHM).
Making a statement in the State Assembly on Friday, Health minister Damodar Rout said of the Rs 1979.89 crore Central assistance received under the scheme in the last five years, the state has so far submitted utilisation certificate (UC) amounting to Rs 1792.82 crore.

Out of the total assistance under NRHM, Rs 17.39 crore has been sanctioned for infrastructure development of the Capital Hospital of which Rs 15.60 crore has already been utilised, the minister said in reply to a question from member Bijay Kumar Mohanty.
