Teaching learning process through WhatsApp groups to be launched in Odisha’s Khordha

Bhubaneswar: In view of the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown, the District Education Office and Samgara Siksha, Khordha decided to launch a teaching learning process through whatsapp groups.

In a letter to the Block Education Officers and Headmasters and Headmistresses of schools, the DEO said the teaching learning process namely Sikhya Sanjog will be started from April 19, 2020 and continue till June 20, 2020.

The letter further said WhatsApp groups are now being created class wise at school level adding students from Class II to Class X in their promotional classes in all 10 blocks and ULBs.

It asked the officials to intimate students to access the books and e-content after downloading the DIKSHA app from Google Play store. Similarly, students must be directed to access the Ujjwala and Utthan books/worksheets through Ujjwala and Utthan-Odisha app from Google Play Store.
