Two killed in road mishap in Odisha’s Sundargarh

Rourkela, Feb 28:

Two youth were killed in a road mishap in front of Jagda School under Chandiposh police station limits in Odisha’s Sundargarh district late on Friday night.

Their bodies were recovered today and sent for post mortem.

The deceased identified as Manoranjan Singh (25) and Gambhir Singh (27), residents of Badmarine, Kalunga in Rourkela were returning to their homes on a scooter when a vehicle hit them from back.

While the duo died on the spot, the identity of the vehicle could not be ascertained.

Meanwhile, Chandiposh police have launched an investigating to trace the vehicle which caused the accident.

“Our efforts are on to identify the truck and to arrest the driver,” said US Naik, IIC, Chandiposh police station.
